Victoria Secret's Leomie Anderson Skin Care Routine

Victoria Secret's Leomie Anderson Skin Care Routine

Leomie Anderson is one of the most influential models around these days — she started on the catwalk for Marc Jacobs and now you can see her as a Victoria’s Secret Angel – a dream amongst models. She is represented by giants of the modelling agency world and at 24 years old she is highly requested. Being a strong voice against racism (in particular, racism in the fashion world) adds to this combination of beauty and brains.

From head to toe, she always carries herself with grace and beauty — but of course there are a couple staple products in her make-up bag to keep her perfect! In case you were wondering, Leomie told-all in a recent interview with Into the Gloss, revealing her staple and go-to products. Are you curious? Here they are! Now step up your game and take care of your body as well!

On hair care:

Although she loves her real hair, admits to using extensions – and she has also been relaxing her hair since the tender age of 12 (though she is adamant it is nothing but a choice – not a bending to beauty standards. She believes everyone should feel free about how they carry their hair. To keep that beautiful hair shiny and healthy she admits to loving the Kiehl’s Amino Acid line – both shampoo and conditioner. These provide wheat protein (for volume and density) along with pure coconut oil - a super conditioning mix that will tame and soften any wild hair!

Keeping that flawless skin

It’s no wonder that Leomie knows what’s best on make-up. On a daily basis, she only uses mascara and does her brows - for perfected, simple, on-the-go look. To thicken out and elongated her already beautiful eyelashes she uses the Lancôme Grandiôse Mascara and for her eyebrows, she prefers the brand Benefit all the way — using the Gimme Brow in Medium just to quickly draw out a shape using the Precisely, My Brow Pencil for a fuller effect, perfected finish.

She advises all of us to check out the Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow Stick in the colour Bark - it’s a product you can apply directly, mix with other colours and is even perfect for a simple, smokey look (just dab a bit of product on your eyelids and smoke it towards your eyebrows – fingers

We know how hard it is to find a good blush colour for our darker cheeksbut she’s got that covered too! The Cover FX Click Color Corrector in Brick is her staple blush. Yes, you read it right - it is a concealer but that colour works wonders on darker skin. Brilliant and simple solution! For foundation, Leomie elects the Bobbi Brown Foundation Stick as the all-rounder. She uses various colours of these on different areas of the face — “Cool Warm” on the main area, “Espresso” for contour and “Cool Almond” as concealer. That is what provides perfect contour and skin coverage. Hey, she always looks so fine that I’ll take her word for it!

On skincare

For flawless skin, Leomie recommends the Bioré Charcoal Facial Cleanser - get rid of blemishes and get a smooth finish after washing your face with this magnificent cleanser.

To hydrate right after cleansing, she swore by Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream as the finishing touch!

The final tip - and a very good one (well she knows what she’s talking about! – this beauty quite simple... You know how you apply baby oil on your legs to keep them moisturized and shiny but after a while the effect seems to disappear? Well, Leomie has the solution – grab some Soap & Glory Righteous Body Butter and add some drops of that baby oil you surely have somewhere near you... The shine and moisture won’t go away any longer because the Body Butter will keep the oil right where it belongs – on your skin! That is splendid for legs as she tells and we can certainly check that one out easily! Thank you for the tip Ms Anderson!

Amazing tips and fantastic choices — thank you Leomie! And keep up the good work!
