Have a pimple? Try These Two proven Homemade Acne Spot Treatments!

By now you know that you should NEVER pop a pimple by yourself. The risks are bigger than the rewards, and unless you want to be left with scarring, we do not recommend it.

Here are some effective homemade remedies that we've tried and that have worked for us.

1. Tea Tree Essential Oil

Why? Tea tree has many uses and it will unblock your sebaceous glands, disinfects pores and dry out your blemishes.

How? This is our favorite method. Mix tea tree oil and water on a q-tip and gently dab it on any pimples or spots. This will dry out the pimple and reduce redness and swelling!

Be careful! Make sure to NEVER apply tea tree essential oil (or any essential oil) directly on your skin as your skin can react very badly!

2. Apple Cider Vinegar

Why? Apple Cider Vinegar is the goat. Not only is it good for your hair, but it is also great foe your skin. It kills bacteria and is also a great toner and balances the pH of your skin.

How? In order to get rid of pimples, mix a ratio of 1 part vinegar to 3 parts water and use a q-tip or cotton ball to apply it to the pimple.

Be careful as ACV can be drying, and if you choose to leave it overnight, you have to apply a moisturizer over it.
