Anxiety Tips to Calm Down
Let's face it, life as a black or brown woman can be quite...stressing. Who doesn't suffer from anxiety these days?
We found these tips a few months ago, and they've helped us recalibrate my mind every time we feel like we are losing control (i.e: when we're launching a website!)
Here it is:
Find 5 things you can see,
4 things you can touch,
3 things you can hear,
2 things you can smell,
and one thing you can taste.
This small technique forces you to take your mind off what's causing anxiety. You focus yourself on your surrounding and what you can feel, and with that, you will notice that your body has calmed down.
